In the context of On Space Time Foam, Pirelli HangarBicocca hosts a multidisciplinary conversation between Tomás Saraceno and a number of scholars who have reflected on Saraceno’s work from different theoretical viewpoints: Joseph Grima, art historian, curator of the first Istanbul Design Biennial and editor-in-chief of Domus; Bruno Latour, philosopher and anthropologist of science and technology, founder of the multidisciplinary study group SPEAP (Experimental Program in Arts and Science) at the SciencePo Faculty in Paris, and Molly Nesbit, art historian and writer.
The meeting takes the form of an open informal conversation, in which the audience can take part with questions and suggestions. Starting out from Saraceno’s work and words, it gives an opportunity to examine how contemporary art can inspire ideas and the imagination, bringing together various areas of knowledge in a non-academic manner and generating new future visions.
