Join Tomas Saraceno, philosopher Vincianne Despret and filmmaker Marion Neumann for a dialogue exploring concepts and ideas related to the cognitive faculties of spiders/webs in disciplines such as vibratory communication, architecture, engineering, ethology, sound studies and music.

Moderated by Emmanuel Favre, what could be more disturbing, more poetic, more radical, more exciting, than to begin a celebration of lines of connection than by paying special attention to the powers of these non-human beings, like spiders/webs, and the stories they tell?  In our time of climate emergency, where ecosystems are threatened, new possibilities for cohabitation and multispecies alliances are transforming scientific investigations and artistic practices. With Vinciane Despret, who continues to decompartmentalize knowledge and move around these questions, and Marion Neumann, for whom mushrooms and their contributions in terms of pollution control, health or symbiosis, act as an artistic and social laboratory, we will see how these creative forces can pave the way for other ways of living together and sharing worlds.
